How to Construct Steroid Cycles

When constructing your cycle, you should take notice to specific guidelines that you should use. To start, off there are some basic questions that you should ask yourself such as:

What are your goals? – Is it to bulk up, lean out, to wet bulk, to dry or lean bulk etc.

What are your favorite compounds of choice and are you open to using anything new?

You should also ask yourself what your time frame is – 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks, 22 weeks or 30 weeks?

What are the compounds you have access to?

What are the quantities of these compounds in total grams or mgs.

How many days do you train and how good is your pre/post workout nutrition? This part is very important, as 80% Diet 15% Training 5% gear should be the rule.

What is your prior history to using AAS – if you did them before did you have any side effects?

Other factors to take into consideration are general experience to AAS. There is no point in asking a first timer to combine short and long esters and throw in two orals.

It should be a basic rule that you should keep your first cycle simple and easy and run your first cycle with LONG esters. Also, always run your first cycle with a long ester of test. You should also keep in mind that bulking is easier with AAS than cutting, so it’s best to try to bulk on your first cycle.

You should also not try to achieve too many things in your first cycle and keep in mind that your first cycle is all about trial, error and learning how compounds react to your body as people’s bodies react differently. Having an understanding of how your diet works with your cycle is also crucial. You should also acclimatize your bodies caloric needs to suit your cycle and the compounds you are using for your cycle. You should never treat your body like a roller coaster or a lab experiment. Blood levels take time to adapt so there is no point in running an ester-based hormone for a week and bumping it up a few notches. No point whatsoever to this.

Be mindful that your body should adapt itself to exogenous supplementation slow and steady and remember that a long ester is long for a reason. The delivery of the active is stretched over a longer time frame. A simple rule is that every time you run a long ester you should give yourself a minimum of 10 weeks. There is no point in running a long ester for a short run and starting the PCT as your active anabolic is still being released or while you are dumping more chemicals into your body.

When using harsher compounds for the first time, be sure to start out low and work your way up. You can do more cycles and start out higher after you know how your body reacts.

Also, you should always keep ancillaries at hand. Just because you didn’t have estrogen conversion the first time around, does not mean your 3rd cycle will not give you gyno. Free metabolite action can never be perfectly gauged.

And please do not think that you are superman and take more AAS that you should as your body will convert any extra steroids right into estrogen and that’s a whole new can of worms.

I cannot stress this enough – please don’t try to accomplish too many things during one cycle, remember that more does not mean better. Throwing in 40 different compounds is not going to do much.

Many people try to throw in fat burning ancillaries early on without prior experience. Imagine you have a blood condition, maybe elevated BP due to coagulation levels and you run clenbuterol and equipoise. You may not feel its effect on cycle, but you are just harming your body more and more.

A simple testosterone + equipoise cycle can give you as good effects if your diet and training are in perfect check as opposed to 10 fancy compounds and you not knowing what to eat and when.

Just as important as ancillaries are cycle support supplements. Remember, liver toxicity is both overrated and underrated in many cases. Here is a basic concept people forget, just because an oral is a methyl and the fact that it is a methyl is not what hits the liver but its androgenicity ratio. So a little research always goes a long way. Its best to do your homework and go to our forums and read, read and read and then ask a million questions as its better to be safe than sorry and make sure you are taking the correct support supplements pertaining to your cycle and your basic supplements as always.
